Hezbollah Claims Continuous Attacks on Israeli Targets Since March 2
According to a statement shared by its military media, the actions were undertaken “in defense of Lebanon and its people” following the start of an Israeli offensive.
Reports indicate that Israel has conducted airstrikes and launched a ground campaign in southern Lebanon after the cross-border attack by Hezbollah on March 2. Lebanese authorities reported that at least 1,228 people have been killed and 3,543 injured in the Israeli strikes.
The violence occurs amid an ongoing joint US-Israeli campaign against Iran, which, according to reports, has claimed more than 1,340 lives since Feb. 28. In response, Iran has launched drone and missile strikes targeting Israel and US military facilities in Gulf nations.
